Hey, it's the first upload of 2025 :)
I've been really into arcade games the last couple of years, and I feel like they are often seen as something outdated or enjoyed only for nostalgia's sake. That's what I thought for a long time, anyway. Now I see it as a different style of gaming – a style that holds a lot of appeal for me. I felt like doing a short and to the point video going into some of the reasons behind that appeal. All of these apply to home play. Enjoy!

Hi all! You may have noticed that PlayStation is celebrating its 30th anniversary (since the original Japanese launch took place on December 3rd 1994). The OG PS1 is a console that I have a lot of affection for and I find it’s game library amazingly varied and interesting. So to mark the occasion, and just to have a bit of fun, here’s some of my personal favorites. Hope you enjoy ^^

Heyo, the second mistyzones video is out now and I thought I’d say a couple of words about it.
It's a video about an industry defining classic, but it's not a history lesson or a nostalgia trip. It's my attempt to describe in detail how strange and beautiful this little game is.
Sonic 1 takes you through wildly conflicting emotions while using a very focused gameplay palette. It's an aesthetic tour de force where you need to stop and smell the pixel flowers to fully appreciate it. It’s also a true classic in the sense that it lives in replay and reinterpretation. This video is how I play and interpret it.
