I hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas! Let me know what you've been up to.
I did have a video recorded that was going to be out, well, today (27th of Dec), but just sitting down now to edit it, the audio is off...way off. So sadly I don't have anything until the new year when I can get out and re-record lol.
On a plus note, I may or may not be able record better audio anyway so... Fingers crossed that all works out.
Anyway... I hope you all have a great new year, let me know of any resolutions you may have for it, if any.
So until 2025, I'll leave you with a couple of pictures I took from said failed video.

No video today sadly. I've been without the van for a week as it's been in the garage getting the power steering fixed. And as a result I've been unable to get the next video sorted and edited etc.
Good news though, phase one of operation dentist is finally done after several delays, meaning I should be able to smile on camera at last haha!!
I'll leave you with a little picture I took whilst in the lake district a few weeks back.
Exciting times ahead, got a lot planned.

Bit of an update for you guys.
I'm finally going to be getting sorted at the dentist starting tomorrow and the following week, so this will result in several weeks where I won't be able to record new videos. However...as it stands, I have 4 Peak District videos recorded (just need to edit them) and 1 Lincolnshire video recorded (again, editing needed). I did have a stealth camp video recorded but I'm just not happy releasing it. I will be going to record a new van camping vid to replace that one though but unfortunately that means there won't be a video to release tomorrow.
So basically I should have 6 videos worth of content to release which SHOULD tide me over until I can record some new ones, but obviously these will be mostly Peak District hiking videos. And of course, if this work takes longer than that, then I may have to get creative with what I put out and when...
On the plus side though, once all this work is done, I can finally record videos the way I want to record them without having to hide the damn beaver tooth and trying to edit around it (which is incredibly demotivating when there is actually no easy way to edit around it).

Guess what... I'll actually have a video out tomorrow!
Apologies for the long wait for a new vid, these past few weeks have been a bit tough and all over the place. About a month ago my dad lost his partner of about 30 years and was distraught over the loss, so I spent a lot of time visiting and spending some time with him. And then last week my dad also passed away. So obviously, making videos had to get sidelined for a bit.
I am hoping to get back into the swing of things from here on though, I just need to get out and film them! (Also toying with the idea of livestreaming a walking route at some point, let me know what you think).

Well hello there everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year's holiday!
I want to start 2024 on the right track in terms of video quality and schedule etc so I've been trying to build up a collection of videos ready so if I'm not feeling particularly up to recording one week then at least I'll have a few in the bag to fall back on. Sadly a lot of technical difficulties have hounded me at every turn. I assure you that new videos are coming though but in the meantime, the only thing I have to offer is a picture I took while recording a failed video that I was going to use as a thumbnail.
PS. Any video editors out there, please get in touch!

I know I've been a bit quiet since that last upload, things are coming I promise...
Next video will be another mini hike and I am cooking up something fun to come afterwards that I'm quite excited about...stay tuned, I promise the content is coming. πΆβπ«οΈ

Been a bit under the weather so haven't had the chance to get out and do any new recording. I had some geocaching footage in the bank that I was going to use but... 1, going by the views on previous videos, the geocaching ones don't get many at all and 2, the footage I had shows my broken front teeth a bit too clearly and like I said in a previous video, I'm incredibly self conscious about it (it's not the nicest thing to show off in videos is it). So decided to abandon that video.
Hopefully next week I should be back to normal though. Got some interesting stuff planned for it... ;)
