Thank you to everyone that followed along with this years 36 days of type! It was a fun experiment to create and post renders as well as videos every day for 36 days! Part of the reason for doing so was to get me back into the swing of creating videos for YouTube, and it's certainly got me wanting to dive in again! I'll be taking a look back at some of the techniques used in the last 36 days, and breaking them down in tutorials that are easier to follow along with if you want to recreate the effects yourselves.

Ok, it's been a while since I've posted regularly. So, how about 36 videos in 36 days? This year I'm gearing up to take part in #36daysoftype. This is a great opportunity for me to get back into some daily renders playing with ideas. Everyday I will be recording my process and posting here on YouTube! The posts on Instagram and videos here will start April 10th. Wish me luck!

Hello! It's been a while, more than a while actually - too long! I have kept an eye on the channel and noticed the numbers creeping up, we're nearly at 20k! Which is incredible considering I haven't posted for a year. As I said in my last post, my wife and I had a baby this year - which I didn't realize would take up so much of our time, but has been amazing. She is nearly 11 months old now, which I can't believe!
I loved making tutorials, but they were getting longer and longer (which was my fault!) But I have bought a new Microphone (as the old one was always a pain to work with) and plan to get back into it with smaller, more manageable tutorials, tips etc. Give me a few weeks and I'll plan to have one posted, so hopefully I can get back in the groove!
Those of you that follow me on social media may know that I have been producing NFTs over the last year. These are an amazing new outlet for artists, and I have really enjoyed working on collections over the last year. With that being said, I hope you guys are ok with the fact I'll be posting a video today advertising my latest drop (this Thursday). I may use the pieces in this drop to show some techniques / ideas in my next tutorials. Let me know what you think!

Sorry for the radio silence over the last few months! In February my wife and I were blessed with our little baby girl. She's cute, but takes over all of our time haha. I've been dabbling in the world of NFT's in the spare time I do have outside of work - a crazy time! As we are slowly getting back into a rhythm, I'm super keen to get back into tutorials and uploading to the channel - something I know I've neglected for a while! Hang in there, I'll be back soon :) If there's anything you're interested in learning about, send me a DM on Instagram or Twitter and I'll start getting a list of possible tutorials together. Thank you! P

New tutorial coming tomorrow morning US Eastern! This is the effect I used for my 'number 13' in this years advent calendar render. I recreate the technique on a sphere to show how it can be applied to any shape (within reason!)

I'm a motion graphics designer based in the United States. I've worked within the advertising industry for the last 18 years, producing digital media for a number of world class clients. I've loved using Cinema 4D throughout my career, and am always looking to learn new techniques. Skills I do know, I'd like to share here on my channel!
