The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) was founded in 1982 and operates under the auspices of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation (RBSOF), a non-profit organization under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. Its main objective is to promote classical music, music education and other cultural activities in Thailand.
