Pixels' Major Update is UP!
Aside from the Pixels' Major Update, we will also be talking about the Pixels' Lunar Event happening in Terra Villa and the updates on Content Creator Bounty Boost rewards.
First, what is the major update in Pixels?
1. XP changes = XP values have been adjusted in such a way that to craft 1 silk cloth would give you 109 XP and to craft 12 silk cloth would give you 120 XP
2. Timer Tweaks = actions now take longer in such a way that when you are farming blue grumpkins for example, you will wait for 20 minutes and 28 seconds before you can harvest the crops when before it was already ready after 1 minute and 30 seconds (i guess, but it took way less than 20 minutes).
3. Energy adjustments = energy consumption has been rebalanced to reduce grind and create a smoother experience in such a way that you can craft more items in one click to craft requiring more energy (which is reasonable) for less XP in return. An example for this is the silk cloth I have mentioned above.
4. Industry Limits = No caps on how many you can place on the land but on Speck still has the same limit which is within Tier 2 industries only. NFT lands has more freedom to put in industries from low Tier to high Tier that is from Tier 1 until Tier 4.
Limits depend on the type of Industry which are Producer, Crafting, Petcare, and, Business. There is a run down of total percentage for the industries you have installed in your Speck/NFT land found at the Gate of the land. There was no notice yet as to what how many or how much in percentage each industries is allotted for the whole speck or the whole NFT land. Now, the run down of percentage of the industries you can put in can be more than 100% or 200%. But after one week grace period, land exceeding industry limits will become non-functional until it is adjusted to meet all caps.
Second, The Lunar New Year. From Yesterday 1/29/2025, this event has started and will not go beyond February 2nd of this year. Auntie May (NPC) is located at the center of Terra Villa. A click on this NPC will trigger the "2025 Lunar New Year" quest. Then, you will get 24 Cababbage Seeds which could be planted in your Speck. After harvest you will have to gather other ingredients (turkey egg, seltsam egg, and the lunar egg) to complete the dumpling recipe. There is a steamer found near Auntie May NPC. Bring the dumpling/s to Auntie May after it is cooked and you will get a chance to win one or more of the following:
- Exclusive Lunar Costumes, Cosmetics and Accessories
- Lunar Snake Pet (25 available)
- Lunar energy Treats
- Lunar Snake Sculpture - which give 5% & 3 % stoneshaping boosters
Players with less than 2000 reputation will receive 1 seed per day and a red envelope after delivering the cooked dumpling. While those with 2000 reputation and above will earn multiple (24) seeds and a gold envelope after delivering the dumplings.
Third, The Bounty Boost Reward Update.
Tier 1 Bounty Boost reward: 60 bottles of Blue Grumpkin Wines and 1 month VIP
Requirements: 2 pieces of high effort content on at least 1 platform per week, for 1 month (A total of 8 pieces of content)
Tier 2 Bounty Boost Reward: 60 bottles of Muckchuck Mead and 1 month- VIP
Requirements: 2 pieces of high effort content in 1 platform and 1 piece of high- effort content on another platform per week, for 1 month (A total of 12 pieces of content)
Tier 3 Bounty Boost Reward: 60 bottles of Butterbrew and 3 month VIP
Requirements: 2 pieces of high effort content each on 2 different platform per week, for 1 month (A total of 16 pieces of content).
Note: No repost is allowed such as having the same content on two platforms like it was just a copy paste. In my case as a content creator, I can only put in 2 different contents in 1 platform (1 chose facebook). So, I have applied to Tier 1. However, I am still uploading contents to Youtube in the hopes that it will benefit me in the future, anyway it has different link IDs which I think not a copy of my facebook content.
I was listening to the previous AMA and at first I laughed at how Luke looked. I thought he was wearing a make up on his left eye. Then, I found out that he fell from his bike the reason he had a bruised eyelids. Also, Heidi cut herself from opening a box. I was kind of worried of how things are going in the game. But later I thought that there must be something to pan on for this. I do not promote this kind of untoward happenings to our dear ones especially those who are involved in keeping the game alive and of course to anyone including any people around the world. What would be our purpose of allowing players like me to surpass the challenges inside the game if in other situations they can be harmed. The message for this for such is there was maybe not a way to tell for Heidi's side that there should be some rules in the kitchen or some changes might be needed in order for anyone not to cut herself when doing chores in the kitchen. And for Luke's side, the message might be "someone should to have a definite date to check himself for record purposes at a hospital he prefers". Well things are getting tougher. And online information security might have been tough that messages needs to be passed on to someone else. Be it because the environment needs to know updates too or even in Heidi's confined home some improvements are needed.
For what this will do to anyone, I hope this will be for the benefit of all. I have even had the chance to check the address of my Speck and it was addressed to the previous Ronin Address which was hacked. Have you guessed how I reached out? Well, I thought it would take few days but I still sent my queries. Hazel explained the facts very well and if it would have a different result in the future, I have this something to remind me of my concern. (see screenshot below).

Here I am again trying to lure you to get into Pixels. Just a heads up. When you have your axe in high tier like tier 3 and 4, you can cut trees without crumbs from tier 1 to tier 4 trees. Here is a tip. You can put trees in your speck upto tier 2 only while you can access tier 3 and 4 trees in NFT lands.
Note: I was just as concerned as a child with those crumbs. It's like food that can only be caught by insects and can't be seen by anyone else especially when you are out trailing. Pixels guarantees "NO CRUMBS" when you cut down trees. No harm done and No one will be hurt.

It's the new year's countdown in Pixels' Terra Villa. And guess what!? Pixel task appeared in my task board. It's to deliver 10 improved stove kits for 10 pixels token.

This week starts the emplimentation of tools degradation. It means that whatever tier (1,2,3, 4, 5) your tools (shears, axe, pick axe) will reach a point that it'll cease its function. It is still sharp but/and for axe it will suddenly stop cutting trees when it reaches its maximum usage. Only tier 1 (basic) tools are available in the marketplace. The only resort to get high-tiered tools is to craft them in the NFT land with high-tiered industry.
In the example below, I have tier 111 axe which is about to lose its function. So, I better craft another tier 111 tool so that I get a spare and when my old tool ceases its function, I will not be cramming to craft a new one. Let's check pixels.tips for the guide on how to craft tier 111 tool. Now, I gather resources from my chest in my speck and inside my house. When it's already complete, I teleport to one of the NFT lands in my bookmark. There I found a high-tiered industry where I could craft the tools I needed.
For tier 111 axe, I need craftbark plank, bronzenite bar, and bronzenite axe (tier 11). I need 50 energy to craft 1 tier 111 axe and I have to wait 6 minutes for it to complete. After, I will gain 600 XP.
Now, leveling up means crafting more high-tiered tools. It's not only energy that needs to be replenished.

It's not yet the nick of time for Christmas season, that's the christmas Eve.
Anyway....
๐ฎโ๐จ๐ทIt's time to give justice to the butterbrew wine in my chest. If need be, I have to mention that these wines are given to us(pixels content creators), to cut it short I am using this to level up my cooking skills this time. I have not mentioned before that I was leveling up my farming skills and had stored up ๐ฅcubecumbers in few of my T2 and T3 chest in my speck.
Leveling up could mean more pixel tasks in taskboard(TB), like 1 task for 20 pixels if I reach level 60. But right now, I am taking it easy in leveling up. I consumed 2 of butterbrews (wines) which gives 600 plus energy each bottle. Then, I am able to reach level 54 in cooking. That is besides the previous XPs I got from previous cooking I earned, hence I am able to reach level 54 cheaper. For full level up, more butterbrews are needed. So, I am taking this day by day as butterbrews are not available in the market(not tradeable).
In cooking cubecumber they will be cooked up as cubecumber relish. I don't know how it tastes but by the sound of it, it must be compared as a pickle relish available in real market...hehhehe...God forbid if it was translated as sourkraut,...ilk!๐ค
