My new video is about the Five Nocturnes of Manuel Blancafort (1897-1987). He was one of the most important Spanish Catalan composers of the 20th century. His style is similar to his colleague and friend Frederic Mompou so if you like Mompou's music I am sure you'll like Blancafort's music too. In this video I talk about his Five Nocturnes for piano, one of his most important works.

💥My new video is about Spanish/Catalan composer Xavier Montsalvatge, on the humor and irony in his music, comparing with composers who influenced him, such as Stravinsky, Ravel, Milhaud or Prokofiev. Music from Petruchka to Sarcasms, Habaneras and Samba.
