okay people, if you have any tips, ideas or advices on why my laptop (macbookair) suddenly doesn’t recognize my hard drive (wd elements) and possibly how to solve this, I’m all ears, because it’s been 24 hours since I tried several procedures and it still doesn’t show up on finder.
I don’t think it’s like physically broken because when connected to the usb port, it makes a bit of noise as usual and the little light flashes.
I thought for a second that it might have something to do with the fact that I updated the laptop to macOS Monterey but that would be really weird since my other hard drive still works as usual.
and of course the hard drive that isn’t working anymore is the one with all my editing stuff 🤦🏻♀️ all my cut scenes, all my oc footage, all the fcp stuff and backups, etc. 🤦🏻♀️
maybe it’s finally a sign aha aha aha.
