The University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, based in Seattle, Washington, USA. The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine's mission is to improve the function, level of independence, and quality of life of people who have disabilities brought about by illness, injury, or of congenital origin.
Academics: We offer degree programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and prosthetics and orthotics, as well as a PhD graduate program in Rehabilitation Science. We have residency programs in Psychology Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. A number of Fellowships including Brain Injury, Amputation, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury, Sports Medicine, Pediatric Rehabilitation and more are available.
