I am riding in the first ever #HondaTrueAdventureTour š„
Started out on the 2024 āā @hondamotorcycles Africa Twin, day 1 we rode a stint of highway first thing which was nice and relaxing having cruise control, shortly after we found ourselves deep into the Redwoods marveling at the lush forest that surrounded us.
This bike and I meshed right away, Iāve always wanted to try an AT and I can say I am very happy with how it performed today. Almost 200 miles in so far and plenty of content to come from our journey.

Well it has been a good run.. After 7 years of doing YouTube itās time to call it quits and go back to a 9-5. The road test; with only 149ccās of air cooled combustion, nodding off on your morning commute might sound inevitable. Wrong, the XR150L was an absolute blast to rip through the grape covered hills and you are forced to use every last rpm in each gear fully engaging you into the moment.
Paired with the comfortable ergonomics that come with a dual sport by nature, I could have spent hours riding at this pace with little fatigue. Itās not a Goldwing by any means, but with an MSRP of $2,971 you will be pressed to find a more versatile machine.

On to the next oneš¤·š¼āāļø // After much thought Iāve decided to go in a different direction. I had big plans to live the Dual Sport life but traveling full time with Diesel itās just not realistic. On top of that, western riding is no joke and this terrain was beating me to death on the under-sprung hog that is the 300L. Could I have dumped some money into and went full āŖ@TheGardenSnakeā¬ ? .. Yes, but at the end of the day you can only shed so much weight and add so much performance. My leg isnāt getting any better but Iām ready to get back to progressing. That being said what bike would you get if you were me?
