WR Ranch is a family-run cattle ranch located in beautiful Madison County, Iowa. We consider ourselves a "micro ranch" because we are smaller than small scale. Our home operation consists of only 10 acres. We raise a small, closed herd of purebred Dexter cattle for breeding stock and grass-finished beef. Each season we also produce pasture-raised chicken that is for sale locally. We believe in working with nature and strive to manage this ranch so the soil, grass, and livestock remain happy, healthy, and require as little outside inputs as possible.
