Very sorry to any Russian viewers as it seems I have become an inevitable victim of copyright trolling (There's no way the "Slowed & Reverb" version is the rightsholder bffr). I'm not pleased about it but it's currently alright in the USA or UK so it's like ... I'm sorry but I'm making money moves behind the scenes so I can't drop everything to fix it but I am keeping an eye on it and will try to dispute the claim? Worst comes to worst you'll have you hear me redo the audio with me poorly singing a cover of A Thousand Miles intersected with me reading part of a Wikia or something so it doesn't get flagged a la AUDIO JUNGLE AA EE OO.

Holy hell where did all of these people come from. I didn't expect that small announcement video just to nudge my subscribers into checking my community tab to be RECOMMENDED TO PEOPLE. But in light of this, and also just because, I've added some links to my channel where you can support Palestinians directly. The video that's literally just white text on a black screen's gonna be unlisted at some point and put into a public "archival" playlist of other unlisted videos, just so it's not on my main channel's page but is still accessible. (Seriously had I known it would've gained traction I would've put more effort... I'll probably throw a more straightforward V2 up or something.)

Quick edit to avoid double-posting: Also as of right now I got done writing an email to my friend's school faculty about the stuff that I posted about earlier today/yesterday. No idea if it'll do anything but I encourage doing so as well if any of you have the time, god knows that over the past 3 days there's crazy libel going on in that inbox right now. It'd mean a lot to me at the very least & a lot to him to know that he's not alone.

my friend was recently doxxed by twitter account StopAntisemites for having "from the river to the sea" as his yearbook quote. he's a black highschool graduate and pretty much just turned 18 (six months ago). i know that this is a drop in the bucket compared to what is otherwise going on in palestine under israeli forces but antiblack violence is a massive problem in the united states and i would appreciate it if people on here would spread this information or share their support for him or just like, something. anything.
at present his main concern is other people using the correct pronouns for him but if you could find the StopAntisemites post and report it so that this doesn't culminate in someone potentially attacking him IRL, please do that if you care even remotely about this channel or me as a person. rin's a great friend and while we only met through twitter he is genuinely like a brother to me and i would fall on the sword for him.
i don't particularly like the idea of talking about myself but i as the person behind bladee fan am jewish (ashkenazi, historically from ukraine and the surrounding areas) and rin has never said anything that is ACTUALLY antisemitic. as a matter of fact he's one of the most respectful and committed people i know, especially in the online black metal circles where we met and most people are "apolitical". equating antisemitism with advocacy for a free palestine does nothing but water down the term "antisemitism" and anyone with eyes or a brain can see through that.
if fighting against injustice gets one branded as an antisemite, then i feel no pride in being jewish.
