Hello, Guitar Man followers.
Months ago, I promised a Q&A, and now I am too far behind on it. What will start happening is I will record a short answering your questions. It's simple and can be done in 30 seconds.
Next time we have a Q&A, I will be more timely and will answer each question in one go. We will not have a drawn out delay like we did this time. I apologize, and of course I haven't forgotten. I still have the questions written down ready for review.
PS: We are 10 away from 300 subscribers! Share this page with everyone!
If you are a guitar player, there are tutorials and gear talk are here.
If you are not a guitar player, there are funny skits and cool jams to listen to.
Come join the ride!

A little thank you to our veterans. It's not perfect (in fact just about everything went wrong trying to shoot this video), but I was NOT going to let this pass by.
Happy Veteran's Day.

There was absolutely no reason they let me have this on my jacket.
For context: My school choir is big on seniors being front and center. When Teach asked me whether I wanted my name or a nickname on my jacket, I jokingly said "Guitar-Man". Well sure enuff, Guitar Man has got his own jacket, LOL!
I'm so gonna wear this everywhere.

After a lot of work.... IT'S DONE!
The guitar nut had been delivered on Monday, and it got sanded down today.
A couple of the frets were too high for the strings, causing a weird buzz, or no sound at all. We got those frets filed down and they're smooth as butter.
After the nut was sanded, we put it down and the strings are in. Check out my most recent short video (aimed more towards y'all who are following), "WE DID IT". It's merely a sound check. Tuning doesn't matter, neither does tone or technique. I just wanted to make sure it worked.
I've got a concert to play at for school. Don't expect a video from it, it's Taylor Swift themed and I'm NOT a fan.... Lol. Anyhoo, I wanted this guitar to be played there, and it's more than ready to tear it up!
Special thanks to my dad, who knows more about the technical world than I do. He's helped tremendously, especially today.
God bless y'all, and best of luck to what you do.

What a loss, the son of a sailor. Rest in peace, Jimmy Buffett.
In honor of him and a request, here's a lesson on his famous song, Margaritaville. https://youtu.be/Gt7r1ffCfZY?si=tUkLB...

Today, I've asked myself a simple question many times. "What am I doing?!" Well, here's what I think I did.
- Cleaned the tone/volume knobs
- Readjusted the tremolo strings (and lost one in the process)
- Put everything back together on the body
- Took off the neck and cleaned it
- Removed the nut completely
The hard part is over. I think.

Hey, Guitar Man here once again!
I'm going to do a live stream or premier of this event on Saturday evening. Specifics to be determined later.
Make sure you're following so you can get the update on when it's happening live. If this does get on board, I'll be showcasing a guitar I haven't shown before.
Hope to see you there!

Did some more work on Old Faithful.
- Removed the tailpiece and cleaned it
- Started cleaning the volume and tone knobs
- Got the rust off of the pickups
- Got all but one screw unscrewed
We are so close to stripping this thing down and finalizing the cleaning. With all hopes, the mustache will stay on. As far as I'm concerned, we're about halfway done.
Also, I have tried to make videos of my progress throughout this cleaning process. I have not been entirely faithful, and finalizing it will make it seem like jumping too far from scene to scene. More than likely, I won't post a video for it, but I am more than welcome to share anything I've learned once I'm done.
Peace out.
