in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
A new WIP of this has been made; however, it is exclusive to a handful of people who either commissioned me or have otherwise supported me this year via Ko-fi. As for everyone else who didn’t, the best I can do is offer you an opportunity to guess what anisong I am trying to cover here, or at least try to guess certain details (like i.e. the name(s) of the song’s original singer(s), the composer, the lyricist, the record label, etc. or alternatively the origin anime’s genre, the name of one of its characters, the name of a voice actor/ress who played a role in it, the animation director(s), etc./など/usw.)
As previously said in youtube.com/post/Ugkx6M3rE2U37b7eSptw2MoTLbN4-dEhb… this is neither Mayonaka Punch nor My Deer Friend Nokotan, so any comments mentioning any of these two titles will be ignored. Now, let your theories run wild!

With my computer’s power supply (PSU) finally properly replaced (partially thanks to the two people who donated to my Ko-fi, even though I just asked to be commissioned rather than donated to, but at least any kind of help is still hellp & is thus greatly appreciated), pre-production of my next musical project has started. Or at least the musical part of the pre-production process has started, because the visual part of pre-production (procuring the pixel arts out of two previously-commed artists) was completed last week (it took a little more than three months to achieve this).
Please note, however, that this new project is not from the preliminary outline I had published here when this year started: youtube.com/post/UgkxFLdgx3ZqTDNP8ZeOHNX9uj0AI-GPH…
The last two projects listed on that checklist –an inspirational Spanish-language ballad song, & the title song of a classic live-action children’s TV show– have been cancelled because their respective silver (25th) & ruby (40th) anniversaries have been missed –thanks to AL052024 a.k.a. 05L Ernesto, & to that exploding PSU as well as the third one that followed it in doing the same to me, for keeping my PC offline for more than two months & thus ruining my production & upload schedule–; also, I had plans to cover the theme of a specific Hanna-Barbera cartoon (not listed on my outline, as the idea popped up after the fact) that was also observing its ruby anniv. this summer, but that too got scrapped because of said problems above).
Instead, this is a brand-new project that wasn’t envisioned in my initial plans because it spontaneously spawned up as soon as a specific anime debuted this summer & captivated me with its songs. Also no, this anime was neither Mayonaka Punch (even though I like Ichiko, as listening to her is pretty much like listening to Zundamon) nor My Deer Friend Nokotan (which I haven’t watched at all, even though Miku’s VA is there), so the next music project is completely unrelated to those animes. While I will not provide any further specifics about the origin anime song that I will be covering before this year ends, I can say that this next PC-9821 version will be done using the same FM instruments & macro-heavy programming style as last year’s PC-9821 version of Hirogaru Sky Pretty Cure ~ Hero Girls (hopefully the source code does not blow up to a nearly-uncompilable ~60-kB size like Hero Girls did) & that two of the pixel artists who provided arts for Hero Girls have reprised their artistic roles here (no, I will not spoil here the anime-specific sprites they finished for this project, not even in silhouette form). However, unlike Hero Girls, this will not use Synthesizer V Studio vocals, instead it will be a 100% VOCALOID project, with MEIKA Hime & Mikoto –a pair of V5 voicebanks I had acquired last spring to be used on my V6 Editor– chosen to lead the vocals (although I would like to show here the MEIKAs’ PC-98-style sprites, I first want to wait for GabrielZr0 to publish them on his socials).
So, hoping that my fourth PSU does not again blow up like its predecessors did (& hoping for no more power blackouts this year), please wish me luck on this…
Also, I want to run a poll here for you peoples: I have several other scrapped or put-on-hold projects (apart from those cancelled this year) that I could not finish back then because their target anniversaries were missed (largely either because their origin songs proved difficult or impossible to transcribe or because certain existential threats –like a certain problematic Gachatuber that will not be named here– that were bullying, harassing, &/or intimidating some of my subscribers needed to be taken care of & demanded my full attention & time in order to report them to the pertinent authorities). If I get to finish my next PC-9821 project this year & still get enough time to do another one before Christmas, which one below do you think deserves a second chance at being made (even if it doesn’t coincide anymore with its target anniversary)? Please note, however, that such a second chance may not be guaranteed (especially if no stems or MIDI reference exists for it to speed up its production).

URGENTLY REOPENING MUSIC COMMISSIONS AGAIN – Delivery expected for no earlier than March 2025
On August 17, my computer (the device I use for all my music productions) became out of service by an exploding power supply, shortly after recovering from a tropical storm-caused blackout. It cost nearly US$150 to replace that PSU with a new unit, which still refused to power on the computer because it too got damaged, somehow (turned out, the peripheral power cables connecting the PSU to the hard disk & optical disc drives were either shorted or incompatible with the new PSU, thus damaging it). A month later (September), the new PSU was again replaced but also this time the peripheral power cables were also replaced, & only then my workhorse PC came back alive… only for the new PSU to again explode now on October 16 (two months after the first PSU’s explosion & one month after being replaced together with new cables). So, once again, my music-production PC is AGAIN out of service, & who knows if now there is a new component that needs to be replaced before it again explodes my next PSU?
So, I need to AGAIN reopen music commissions & need to fill in as many commission slots as possible to raise enough funds for the replacement parts (because now it’s not just the PSU nor its peripheral cables, it could now also be something else & I don’t know what it is).
If there is a game music track or anime song you want to see turned into a PC-9801 version (instrumental only) &/or a PC-9821 version (with synthesized vocals), please kindly hit me up on the Ko-fi link below & contribute as much as you are financially able to contribute. Also be patient about the delivery of the finished commissions, as I cannot start working on any of them until all the damaged parts are replaced & the PC is again able to turn on & boot up. You can also review my two Carrd links (below the Ko-fi link) to see which synth voicebanks I own.

URGENTLY REOPENING MUSIC COMMISSIONS – Delivery expected for November/December 2024
My computer (the device I use for all my music productions) got damaged by an exploding power supply, & I have no estimate of how much needs to be replaced & for how much money (beyond a blown PSU, which cost nearly US$150 to replace yesterday, & still the new PSU cannot power on the computer). So, I need to reopen music commissions & need to fill in as many commission slots as possible to raise enough funds for the replacement parts.

A certain doujin artist —who wishes to remain anonymous— authored at least 31 musical works (mostly Touhou arranges, but also one YumeNikki cover) between 2017 & 2023. He quit on November 6, 2023 & deleted his two known social links (SoundCloud & YouTube), citing ① lack of motivation resulting mostly from his works on SoundCloud being only favorited by spambots (& almost no reception from real human beings) & ② inability to handle the pressure putting on himself when facing lack of progress. Even though he also quoted a video saying “it’s difficult to do anything creative at all while being in so much stress” due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, he assured this was “not what’s made me quit”.
With his utmost permission, I set up a Mega.nz archival repository of all of his works as he delivered them to me via Discord after his account deletions, with the following conditions:
① Licensing is CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0.
② Do not claim his works as your own, not even his originals.
③ Do not monetize his works.
④ If incorporating any of his works into a video, please do not monetize the video.
⑤ Same if including any of his works into a game.
⑥ For the case of covers/arranges (i.e. Touhou or Yume Nikki), please credit the original composer(s) properly (ZUN for Touhou, kikiyama for Yume Nikki).
With all said, please enjoy his works!

Silent Sinner in Scarlet, abbr. SilSinn in the 🎮 community, started writing ♪ after hours of playing old PC/video 🎮 (feat. 🎼 generated by soundchips from 1980’s–early 1990’s).
