I'm sure most people by now who have been on youtube, or just generally online, have come across the "killer vr headset".

This is an honestly horrifying prospect.

The fact that the person was considering an anti tampering mechanism is also extremely concerning as of itself.

The way I'm thinking is there are two "worst case" scinearios. The least likely is that governments will use this on dissedent citizens. Obviously unlikely that they'd be able to do it on anything resembling a large scale project without riots, but an uncomfortable notion nonetheless.

The second far more likely scenario is the possibility of a "jigsaw" type scenario. The abduction of a person is quite common all things considered. Should someone decide to do this and rig them to a headset, with no-tamper systems, will be horrific. Even more sadistic would be if it was a game like "fanaf", "scorn" or similar game, even something like farpoint.

The point is, I truly believe that we as humans are starting to cross into the realm of true danger of technology. Should the possibility of unwillingly interring a person into a vr world be compete, it brings a wealth of dangers with it.
