Hello everyone! Today is a very special day for BonBun Films!
As some of you may know, my channel has been up for a long time. My first music videos were uploaded in late 2016, but my actual channel predates the release of the first FNaF game. Today (May 11th 2024) is the 10 year anniversary of the creation of BonBun Films!
While I don't have a video ready for today (unfortunately), I'd at least like to acknowledge this day and reflect on what this channel and this community means to me. 10 years ago I created my YouTube channel to post Minecraft Let's Plays and animations (originally under a different name), and after the release of Five Nights at Freddy's it became my place to upload FNaF videos. Thanks to this channel and community, I have had opportunities that most people my age couldn't even dream of. Thanks to BonBun Films I am able to do the things I love for people like me as my job.
People have told me often that my channel and videos were "their childhood", a statement that simply fascinates me as it was my childhood too! I've been doing this before I was double-digits of age and it's been a long decade. I have no intentions of stopping, even though uploads have been slow lately. I've been trying new things (Fazbear Christmas is a prime example) and I can't wait to show you everything I have planned. Even though it's been 10 long years, it still feels like it's only the beginning.
I have a lot of really BIG projects coming up. I can't speak about many of them right now, but things ARE coming! I'm actually quite disappointed that such an important date was to fall on such a busy time in my life, but be assured that I haven't forgotten about you all, and I have a lot cooking.
Thank you all for being here for so long. Here's to 10 more years!

Some of my subscribers may notice an influx of YouTube Shorts coming to my channel within the next few weeks. I'm not moving exclusively to Shorts content of course, but as I have been fairly inactive the last few years, Shorts gives me an opportunity to share what I've been up to! For example, my most recent upload briefly detailed a concept model I created for a school project. In addition to this, I'm also branching out to TikTok for some of my new content I have planned for this year, and as such you'll see some cross-posting to here! I'll try not to let the uploads get too spammy, but if you're here for new content (as I would assume) then this is going to be good news for you!
I also have an original FNAF Shorts series planned for this year that I'm VERY excited for, so this is my way of getting comfortable with the format before it starts. Thanks as always for sticking around!

Hey guys, last update for the Christmas video for anyone wondering what's going on. It's still coming!
I'm not going to give an estimated time of release right now, as you may have noticed it's taking far longer than I initially said it would. After Christmas passed, I suffered some pretty bad burnout which I was not expecting, which heavily slowed my progress on the video. I'm still confident if I had continued at the pace I was going before Christmas, I could have finished the video before the end of 2023. But unfortunately I have come to realise I am a human, and not a machine. Sometimes things happen which I can't anticipate.
I've picked up the pace within the last few days, and I'm currently at the start of one of the final scenes. I recently updated the character rigs I've been using which should also hopefully speed up progress. Thank you all so much for being patient. I assure you this video is going to be worth it! It's just been difficult and a very new experience handling my longest animated project yet.

UPDATE FOR ANYONE WAITING FOR THE FAZBEAR CHRISTMAS VIDEO!
Unfortunately, animation is taking longer than I initially expected! I can no longer promise a release before the end of the year (as the trailer rightfully predicted). However! I'm making progress fast (2 minutes of animation per day!) and I'm pretty confident that the video will release within the first few days of 2024! I'll be spending the next day or so to celebrate New Years with my family, before getting back to work on the video. Don't lose your hype yet! Freddy and his friends will be here to save (a very belated) Christmas very soon! I hope the video lives up to expectations when it's complete. Thanks for your patience!

Happy Halloween everybody! Unfortunately I have no video today (for the first time in 6 years), some of you may have been expecting a continuation of my Afton family shorts that I've been making every Halloween since 2018. However, as some of you may know, I've instead been sinking time into adapting this short series into a full length animated series! Updates will come soon, though in the meantime you can find the original legacy series in a playlist on my channel for a fun little scare. Thank you all for your patience!

Hello! I'm BonBun Films. I'm an independent filmmaker and animator, mostly known in the Five Nights at Freddy's community for my fan-made music videos.
