Tropical Storm Debby is moving into SE GA and advancing toward SE SC. A tornado watch is in effect for coastal GA and will most likely be extended into coastal SC later this afternoon. VERY HEAVY RAINS will fall over the region with 10-20 inches with some areas of coastal SC to get more than 20 inches. This will result in extensive flooding for the next several days.

Continuing to watch the tropics as the depression is likely to become tropical storm Debby. It will affect SE GA / SE SC Sunday through Thursday with VERY HEAVY RAINS ... a foot or more is possible through that time period. I will post a new weather video on my YouTube Pat's Weather & Nature channel later this afternoon after fresh data arrives.
