ABOUT US
Kabeera is a group of youth consisting artists and intellectuals who seek to bring social change through art and culture. Kabeera mainly consists of theatre artists who perform at various places in collaboration with a range of civil society organizations. The intention behind the formation of Kabeera was to have an artistic initiative with youth, children and also communities through activities like theatre workshops, screening of films, performing plays and film or documentary making. The idea is to make them grow as good human beings and building within them the leadership quality with moral values of life and promoting culture- not only elite but common expression of culture of subaltern or disadvantaged communities.
