Welp guys we're on a time limit now, we're gonna rush the rest of the music we have to do and we're gonna rebrand to "Mario Kart 9 Fanmade Music" 🙏
jk lol everything's gonna be the same and we're not gonna rush it, but in all honesty this looks so cool, the theming for this course is nice tho the layout from what i can see maybe a lil bland for a "Mario Bros. Circuit" as the title on the track implies, we have high hopes and we're sure its gonna be fun tho lol

oops we forgot to make new music for like a month
anyway im hoping to get DS Desert Hills out tomorrow, or today since it's past midnight here, i need to look it over when im not tried from lack of sleep 💀
btw we're not doing the isolated frontrunning beats anymore since they can be found in this drive folder

and also in case you didn't see it, the only tracks that are already in mk8dx that we're planning to cover are SNES Mario Circuit, GBA Ribbon Road, and Wii Wario's Gold Mine (Inside), not cos they're bad or anything, we just feel like doing an alternate cover of them, i especially like ribbon road but i wanna see what it sounds like in it's OG style
we might do other ones if you suggest them but its not guaranteed
thank goodness only one more desert track after ds desert hills, i hate composing them 🙏 (tho gba battle course 4 might be a fun one)

it's not done yet, not even close lol, but i felt it'd be nice to share what we got so far. we got a good amount of them though, and there is a doc inside the folder at the bottom detailing the slight changes made to each song, if any. if a song is in the folder but not listed in the doc, then nothing was changed about that song.
yall can recommend changes for each song in the comments of this post too, including the ones we already changed, but no guarantees.
if you do recommend changes, be specific
you'll notice that these are all uploaded from the same account, this is intentional. this is the google account we'll be using for this kinda stuff, so if it isnt that account, then it's probably not us.
btw you still have to ask permission before using these songs, or we at least would prefer it

im currently making a drive folder filled with all our covers on mario kart so you can listen to them in high quality.
to save space tho, we made it loop once but cut it off near the start of the loop, but it should be easy to loop it yourself. We will also have the solo frontrunning beats included too, so this is more for modders who have our permission than anything.
the FR beats come presynced so no work should have to be done there but let us know if you find any problems when the drive link is published
some songs may have changes that were too minor to warrant a "do-over" or to upload as their own video, so do listen to them if you have the chance.
i will be uploading it in a community post and i will be editing the descriptions of the videos to include the drive link in there.

UPDATE: DS Rainbow Road, N64 Frappe Snowland (awaiting a do-over), DS DK Pass, and GCN Rainbow Road have all been given Frontrunning Beats, which can be found in their descriptions now

UPDATE: ive agreed with some of yall concerns about GBA Bowser castle and decided to SLIGHTLY redo it, mostly adding fills making it sound less empty (i tend to have trouble with that for some reason lol)
While it won't be overkill like CTGP-8 (in a good way, the cover is amazing), I'll definitely improve upon my last cover since I kinda made it while staying up way too late and i kinda just uploaded it, I'll definitely do that less going forward
It's probably the shortest amount of time I decided to do a do-over of one of my covers but it's been bugging me too so I decided to go forward with it LOL
you can also leave suggestions for what you'd like to hear in it, but I can't guarantee I'll add it
