I have recently been experiencing the feeling of losing an absent parent
At first, confusion as to why I have sadness when I grieved this loss so many years ago
I fought myself to be present during her time of passing over
I felt the need to match the energy given
But the moment I touched her hand, she let of being trapped inside her body
Growing up all I saw was the lack she provided as a parent
However, after she passed I heard stories of the person she was and the life she had
I discovered my whole life I have chasing a connection of love, not realizing I am the creator of the connection I seek
We get to choose our connections and build with people we feel bring value and positivity into our worlds
I am honored to have such a strong soul on my spirit team ✨🕯️

Losing an absent parent has been an experience all together
