I'm a 30-something-year-old wife, mom, and working professional, living in New Orleans.

My blog is a mix of lots of things, but at the heart of it all is my passion for helping others & sharing useful tips!

I'm originally from NC & grew up growing fruits and vegetables with my father and learning about flowers and houseplants from both my grandmothers. In fact, one of my first "unofficial jobs" was helping my grandmothers tend to their yards and garden beds. I guess that's where my love for gardening began.

I've lived in New Orleans for over 10 years & let me tell you.... gardening here is quite different from the Carolinas. I was determined to learn how to grow my own home garden and my efforts led me to become a Certified Master Gardener in 2017.

I've learned so much & hope to share those lessons with all of you.
