So, back in the late 80s, I was heavily into RC off-roader buggies - particularly the Tamiya kits. I see now that at least one of the models I had back in the day has been re-released, and I'm sorely tempted to make a purchase and relive some of those days. Please let me know if this would be of any interest to you, to feature on my channel - this would be the unboxing, buying info for the components, the complete build, and the road/off-road testing. This is the model I am particularly interested in, and if enough interest is generated, I will also look at the Grasshopper II, and the Hornet in the forseeable..

Coming up this evening will be an X4: Foundations livestream, continuing where we left off before, but in the meantime I've grinded (ground ?) enough credits to get us a mining ship. So let's buy that and put it to work, and then carry on with the player HQ missions

So, I think it's time for a gaming livestream for the weekend, so 8pm UK time I'll either me taking to the skies, or taking to the railway tracks, in either Flight Simulator 2020, or Train Sim Classic/Train Sim World 4. As my No Man's Sky is provided by XBox game pass, I've still not yet received the Worlds update. I'll put out a quick poll to see if any of you have any preferences for the content.....

My next Commodore programming video series will be programming a text adventure game on the Commodore 128 using Pascal. How would you prefer me to create the code? Note - this will be for both 40 and 80 column modes. Note 2 - I'm still continuing the Assembly Language series and have almost prepared for the next instalment of that too.

Tonight's stream we will be playing No Man's Sky ! It's been nearly 4 years since I last played it and, by all accounts, a lot has changed. So we'll start from scratch (my previous savegames were on the PS4) and spend an hour or 2 getting our ship repaired and finding a nice coastal area to build a base. Stream will start at 8.30pm GMT

So after Lukozer showed as all how to play a Train Sim properly on his last live stream, I'm going to jump on the choo-choo bandwagon and stream a Train Journey. This will be a slightly different format than Lukozer's - we will be travelling from London Baker Street Tube, all the way to Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. We will be driving part of the Bakerloo Line, then changing at Waterloo to board a Network Southeast 4-BEP train to Portsmouth Harbour, and then we will complete the journey from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin, on the Island Line. Unfortunately I have no way of Simulating the Fast-Cat ferry between Portsmouth Harbour and Ryde.
The stream will happen this Tuesday at around 7.30pm, and you are guaranteed to see horrendous braking distances, overshooting platforms, and other general ineptitude!
