🚨 BREAKING: The U.S. Debt Clock Now Tracks DOGE & Savings Per Taxpayer! 🚨

💰 DOGE Savings So Far: $175 BILLION
💵 Savings Per Taxpayer: $1,558

But here’s the kicker—this isn’t new spending. This is a dividend—💸 money that was already earmarked for wasteful spending but is now being returned to taxpayers where it belongs! 🏦

And this is just the beginning… 🚀

If DOGE hits its $2 TRILLION annual savings goal, here’s what happens next:

✅ Total savings per taxpayer: 💰 $17,806
✅ Elon’s proposed 20% dividend: 💵 $3,561 in your pocket
✅ Debt reduction: 💳 $1.6 TRILLION knocked off the national debt

And hey, if you’re against all this, no worries! 😆 We’ll just redistribute your cut among the people who actually like saving America money. Sounds fair, right? 😉

Let’s talk about who the real aggressors were in this war. Jeffrey Sachs laid it out perfectly: this was never about Russian expansion; it was about NATO pushing closer and closer to Russia’s borders. After the Soviet Union fell, NATO promised it wouldn’t expand east. But what happened? The U.S. ignored that and added Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic in 1999… then the Baltics, Romania, and more in 2004. Russia warned over and over that this was a red line. In 2008, the U.S. pushed for Ukraine and Georgia to join NATO right on Russia’s doorstep. Imagine if Russia built military bases in Canada or Mexico...the U.S. would never allow it.
Then in 2014, the U.S. backed a coup that overthrew Ukraine’s democratically elected president, Viktor Yanukovych, because he wanted Ukraine to stay neutral. That’s when Ukraine started attacking Russian-speaking regions in Donbass, killing thousands. This war could have ended in one week...Zelensky was ready to negotiate. But the U.S. told him to walk away. Why? Because they wanted a proxy war. And now, nearly a million Ukrainians are dead or wounded, all while defense contractors rake in billions.
So let’s stop pretending this war is some noble fight for democracy. The U.S. government created this mess, and now they want taxpayers to foot the bill while Ukraine gets turned into rubble. Trump’s plan? End the war, cut off the money flow to war profiteers, and actually shift power away from China. That’s not “pro-Russia.” That’s just common sense. #MAGA

Trump’s Ukraine Deal is GENIUS. Here's Why it Works for Everyone.

The war in Ukraine has dragged on for years, costing lives, draining resources, and creating global instability. While politicians and war profiteers have benefited, everyday people in Ukraine, Russia, and beyond have suffered. Now, former President Donald Trump has proposed a solution that could end the war, strengthen the U.S. economy, and reduce global tensions—all without putting American troops on the ground.

Understanding the Reality: Russia Lost

Despite the mainstream narrative, Russia did not achieve its goals in Ukraine. The initial plan was for Russia to take control of Ukraine in just a few weeks. That didn’t happen. Ukraine—backed by billions in Western aid—held its ground. If Russia couldn’t defeat Ukraine alone, the idea that it could take on NATO is absurd. Putin knows this.

So what’s next? Trump’s plan offers Putin a way to save face while also ending the war.

The Deal: Rare Earth Minerals for Peace

Trump’s proposal revolves around one key factor—rare earth minerals. These minerals are crucial for advanced technology, artificial intelligence, and military defense. Right now, China dominates this market, controlling up to 90% of the global supply. If the U.S. wants to remain a superpower, it needs access to these resources—fast.

Here’s how Trump’s plan works:

Russia stops fighting and claims victory – Putin gets to say he won because he gains access to money from rare mineral sales.

Ukraine claims victory – Zelensky can say Ukraine survived and is now economically secure.

The U.S. buys rare earth minerals from both nations – Instead of China controlling the market, the U.S. secures its own supply chain.

The Russia-China alliance weakens – If Russia profits from trade with the U.S., it won’t need to rely as heavily on China.

Europe stabilizes – With the war over, Europe’s economy rebounds, and NATO can claim it “held the line” against Russia.

Why This Works for Everyone

This isn’t just about stopping the war—it’s about shifting global power. The U.S. wins because it reduces dependence on China, strengthens its economy, and avoids a costly war. Russia wins because it gets money without further destruction. Ukraine wins because its economy is rebuilt. Europe wins because it remains relevant.

Most importantly, the endless flow of American taxpayer dollars into Ukraine—funneling money to war profiteers, corrupt politicians, and defense contractors—finally stops. The waste, the fraud, and the endless spending come to an end.

The Genius of Trump’s Strategy

Unlike past presidents who relied on military intervention and foreign entanglements, Trump is using strategy over force. No American boots on the ground. No unnecessary spending. No coercion. Just a deal that benefits everyone involved.

This plan checks every box:

✔ Ends the war
✔ Reduces spending
✔ Puts America first
✔ Secures vital resources
✔ Weakens China’s control
✔ Strengthens Europe’s economy

For years, global elites have profited from never-ending wars while everyday people have suffered. This deal flips the script. America leads without military intervention. Ukraine and Russia both get what they need. And China’s grip on global resources weakens.

The establishment may call Trump reckless, but this plan is pure strategy. It’s the first real “America First” approach that doesn’t come at the expense of other nations. Instead, it creates a future where everyone wins.

So why hasn’t this been done before? Simple—too many people in power profit from war. This plan threatens their status quo. But for everyday Americans, Ukrainians, and even Russians, it’s the only real path to peace.

This was very clever for many reasons—Elon is playing on another level.

🎭 Exposes the frauds – Forces out those who were coasting on the system.
🛑 Filters out the lazy – Some people just don’t want to work. Let them go.
⚖ Demands accountability – Puts employees in a prove-your-value posture.
🧑‍💼 Connects with the working class – Regular Americans have done this their entire careers.
Master move. 🚀

The Conservative TAKE Position Statement: The Hard Truth About Reform and Responsibility

At The Conservative TAKE, we believe in confronting uncomfortable truths. The recent actions by Elon Musk at X (formerly Twitter) and the reforms championed by President Trump are necessary responses to decades of fiscal irresponsibility and systemic corruption. While it's distressing to witness job losses, these challenges should have been addressed half a century ago. Instead, politicians from both parties deferred action, enriching themselves at the nation's expense.

Our national debt now exceeds $34 trillion, with an annual deficit of approximately $1.7 trillion. Continuing on this trajectory risks economic collapse within the next decade, jeopardizing the value of the U.S. dollar and imperiling retirement savings like 401(k)s and Social Security. Alarmingly, members of Congress earn a salary of $174,000, yet many amass fortunes worth tens of millions during their tenure, raising serious ethical concerns.

It's easy to direct frustration toward figures like Trump or Musk, but consider the following:

Reform is imperative—Ignoring the problem only exacerbates it.

Trump campaigned on addressing these issues—His 2024 victory over Kamala Harris, with a popular vote margin of over 2 million votes, reflects a mandate for change.
Both parties have pledged reform for decades—Yet systemic issues persist, and self-enrichment continues unabated.

Proactive measures now will mitigate future hardships—Delaying action will only lead to more severe consequences.

Federal employees are understandably affected during this transition. It's important to recognize that upon their hiring, they take an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Transitioning from expansive government roles to the private sector can enhance our economy through increased efficiency and productivity driven by market incentives.

The root cause of our current predicament lies in over 70 years of inadequate leadership. We must hold accountable those who promised reform but failed to deliver. The American populace deserves a government that serves its citizens, not one that exploits taxpayer resources for personal gain.

The path to recovery is challenging, but it's essential to rectify past missteps to secure our nation's future. The era of excuses has ended.

On the frigid night of December 25, 1776, General George Washington faced one of the most pivotal moments in the fight for American independence. The Continental Army, battered by months of retreat and defeat, teetered on the brink of collapse. Enlistments were expiring. Supplies were dwindling. Morale was shattered. If the cause of liberty was to survive, it required an audacious act of courage.

Washington’s plan was bold to the point of desperation. He would lead his troops across the icy Delaware River in the dead of night to launch a surprise attack on the Hessian garrison at Trenton, New Jersey. The stakes couldn’t have been higher: failure would almost certainly spell the end of the Revolution. But Washington, embodying the spirit of divine providence and determined resolve, pressed forward.

The Challenges
The Delaware River, swollen with winter rains, was treacherous. Sheets of ice floated atop its black waters, and the howling wind tore through the soldiers’ threadbare clothing. Washington’s army, a ragtag group of citizen-soldiers and patriots, endured hardships that tested their limits. They lacked proper shoes, leaving bloody footprints in the snow. Hunger gnawed at their stomachs, and many had grown sick from exposure.

Timing was critical. Washington needed his men to cross the river and march nine miles to Trenton before dawn. But the river crossing was perilously slow. The Durham boats creaked under the weight of soldiers, horses, and cannons. Ice jams delayed progress. Commanders like Colonel John Glover, whose seafaring New England troops manned the boats, worked tirelessly to keep the operation from collapsing under the strain.

The Enemy
At Trenton, the Hessians—German mercenaries hired by the British—had grown complacent. Their commander, Colonel Johann Rall, received multiple warnings of potential American movements but dismissed them as implausible. One such warning, a letter, lay unopened in his pocket as he celebrated Christmas with his officers.

The Hessians believed Washington’s army was broken, incapable of mounting any serious threat. This misjudgment would prove fatal.

The Battle
By the time Washington’s forces reached Trenton, dawn was breaking. Though the element of surprise had been partially compromised, the Continental Army pressed the attack. Fighting through the streets, they overwhelmed the stunned Hessians in a swift and decisive victory.

Remarkably, the Americans suffered only a handful of casualties. The Hessians, caught completely off guard, surrendered en masse. Washington’s gamble had paid off.

Providence and the Cause of Liberty
Many, including Washington himself, saw the hand of divine providence in the victory. Against overwhelming odds, the American cause was revived. The victory at Trenton boosted morale and reinvigorated the fight for independence. It sent a message to the world: the pursuit of liberty, rooted in God-given rights, was worth any risk.

Echoes to Today
The spirit of 1776 reminds us that freedom is never guaranteed. It must be fought for, preserved, and passed on. As we reflect on the challenges our nation has faced—whether against tyranny in the 18th century or ideological threats like Marxism in modern times—we see the enduring power of faith, resolve, and unity.

In 2024, Americans proved once again that the spirit of liberty is alive. Just as Washington’s victory at Trenton turned the tide of the Revolutionary War, so too have recent victories ensured that our nation remains a beacon of freedom.

Merry Christmas from The Conservative TAKE
As we gather with our families this Christmas, let us remember the sacrifices of those who came before us. Their bravery secured the blessings of liberty we enjoy today. May we continue to honor their legacy by standing firm in our convictions and cherishing the freedoms granted by our Creator.

Wishing you and your family a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Blessings,

The First Christmas in Plymouth (1620): A Story of Quiet Defiance and Peril

The bitter wind howled through the trees, rattling the fragile shelters of the Plymouth settlers as dawn broke on December 25, 1620. Their first winter in the New World had brought unimaginable hardship. Food was scarce, sickness spread through the colony like wildfire, and already, frostbitten graves dotted the hard, frozen ground.

For the Pilgrims, this day was no different from any other. Christmas held no place in their Puritan faith—a frivolous celebration rejected for its ties to old-world traditions they had left behind. Yet for some in the colony, the day carried a whisper of hope, a faint reminder of home and the promise of salvation.

As Governor William Bradford made his rounds that morning, checking on those fit enough to work, he saw unease in the faces of his people. The tasks were clear: gather timber to shore up the shelters, keep watch for prowling predators—both animal and human—and ration what little food remained. The settlement was vulnerable, isolated, and surrounded by unknown dangers. Every able body was needed.

But not all of them obeyed the call to labor.

A small group of settlers had lingered near one of the larger communal shelters. Their voices, low and cautious, murmured words Bradford couldn’t hear. When he approached, he found them sitting idle, their tools untouched. In their hands were small items—carved trinkets, folded scraps of paper. One man quietly hummed a hymn, his breath fogging the frigid air.

“What is this?” Bradford demanded, his voice sharp but not unkind.

The group startled but didn’t deny their actions. One of the men, a former craftsman from London, rose to his feet. “Governor, it’s Christmas. We mean no harm, but… we could not let the day pass without marking it.”

“Mark it with your labor,” Bradford replied sternly. “The forest doesn’t care for the birth of Christ, nor will it relent in its cold. Every moment spent idling is a moment stolen from survival.”

The settlers exchanged glances, torn between their faith and the harsh reality Bradford had laid bare. But one of the women, her face pale from illness but her eyes fierce, stood. “Governor, we work every day to live. Can we not spend this one morning to remember why we fight to survive? To honor the light of His coming?”

Bradford’s jaw tightened. He wanted to scold them, to demand they return to their duties, but something in her voice struck him. He sighed heavily. “You may have your hour,” he said at last, “but keep it discreet. The colony’s survival depends on unity. This cannot divide us.”

As the small group offered hushed thanks and returned to their quiet observance, Bradford moved on, troubled by their defiance but unwilling to harden his heart.

Later that evening, as the settlers huddled together, a sharp noise echoed through the woods. A snapping branch. A distant cry. The men on watch stiffened, gripping their weapons tightly. The threat of attack—whether from prowling wolves or nearby tribes still uncertain of their new neighbors—was constant.

Bradford rushed to the perimeter, his breath visible in the icy air. “Who’s there?” he called into the darkness. The forest offered no answer. The settlers gathered, hearts pounding, as the silence stretched long and thin.

Finally, one of the guards returned. “False alarm, Governor,” he said, though his voice was unsteady. “A deer, I think. It fled into the trees.”

The settlers slowly returned to their shelters, but the mood was somber, the weight of their peril heavier than ever.

For those who had observed Christmas that day, the experience was bittersweet. Their moment of joy had been fleeting, shadowed by the ever-present dangers of the wilderness. But in the face of death and despair, they had held fast to their faith, if only for an hour.

Years later, Bradford would write about that winter, about the trials they endured and the faith that carried them through. He did not mention the quiet rebellion of that first Christmas, but in the hearts of those few settlers, the memory lived on—a reminder that even in the darkest of times, the light of hope could never truly be extinguished.

In moments of uncertainty, history has always called on the brave to decide the fate of a nation. On November 8th, 1864, amidst the turmoil of the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln's re-election held the Union together, setting the course for a United States built on freedom. Victory was anything but certain. The cost of defeat? A permanently divided America and the preservation of slavery. It was only through the determination of citizens who refused to surrender their nation's destiny that unity and liberty prevailed.

Now, as we face November 5th, 2024—160 years later—the stakes feel eerily familiar. Once again, America stands at a crossroads. Many conservatives fear a future where the nation’s very foundations are reshaped: court-packing, open borders, the addition of new states, and policies that threaten the integrity of our electoral system. A future where power consolidates, eroding constitutional protections and diminishing the balance our Founders designed.

This is a call to action for every patriot. History is a cycle, and each generation must defend the freedoms we cherish. As we stand on the brink of what could be another decisive moment, the choice belongs to you. Will we secure a future for our Republic, or let it slip away? Your voice. Your vote. Our future.

If you are a Christian and you won’t share the Gospel, you won’t publicly proclaim Christ, and you won’t stand up for truth when it matters, then what are you good for? The least you can do is vote in private. If you won’t take action in the world, the bare minimum is to cast a vote that aligns with God’s values.

Brandon Straka just recognized my video on the official #WalkAway page, and I am beyond honored! 🙌🇺🇸 This project has been a labor of love, with months of work—and I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of my kids. ❤️

Using Gettysburg as the backdrop, I shared my journey of walking away from the left, a story that started with the aftermath of 9/11 when I realized I could no longer align with the direction my party was headed. If my story can inspire even one person to stand for truth, liberty, and individual freedom, it will all have been worth it.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far—and a huge thank you to Brandon and the entire WalkAway team for this incredible recognition! Let’s keep walking forward together. 💪🇺🇸
