South Pacific nations have the highest prevalence of diabetes in the world. In fact, experts agree diabetes and other non-communicable diseases are one of the greatest threats to the regions development.
We are committed to delivering activities targeting Type II Diabetes in the South Pacific, which include:
1. Equip local communities with the skills and tools to conduct community health assessments for the early detection of diabetes (and other, related chronic diseases),
2. Train and resource lifestyle coaches across the South Pacific with the skills to help prevent, arrest and reverse Type II Diabetes, and;
3. Support the professional development of health professionals working in health systems across the South Pacific in diabetes management
