Today marks the 55th anniversary of the CHAPPAQUIDDICK INCIDENT. Sometime around midnight between July 18 and 19, 1969, United States Senator Ted Kennedy drove his car off a narrow bridge, causing it to overturn in Poucha Pond. The crash resulted in the death (by suffocation) of his 28-year-old passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne, who was trapped inside the submerged vehicle. After his car skidded off the bridge into the pond, Kennedy swam free and maintained that he tried to rescue Kopechne from the submerged car but could not. In remembrance of Mary Jo and the tragic fate she met, I felt compelled to retrace the steps of that fateful weekend and make a video documenting the events while in Martha's Vineyard. Hi there! I am a free spirited individual trying my best to enjoy all the good things life it has to offer! Travel and movies have both been passions of mine for years. It seemed only natural to combine travel with visiting locations where my favorite movies and television shows were filmed back in 2019.
