Regarded as one of the finest lute players of his generation, Paul Kieffer (b.1990) has intimately accompanied artists such as: Dame Emma Kirkby, Andreas Scholl, Andrew Lawrence-King, to name a few. His professional concert career in the field of old music - active since 2006 - has seen over 1000 performances in some 30 countries. He’s performed in festivals of Basel, Zurich, Utrecht, Bruges, Ambronay, Antwerp, Innsbruck, Copenhagen, Vézelay, Heidelberg, Wolfenbüttel, Périgord, Paris, Tréguier, Aracena, Amherst, Tiana, Assisi, Spello, Treviso, Thun, Sofia, Radovljica, Prizren, Kotor. He can be heard on recordings for Arcana, Naxos, Ricercar, Deutsche Harmonia Mundia, Claves, Ibs Classical and others.
