Thank you Lord, Thank you for today. Thank you Lord for not letting that be my last day. Thank you lord for everything I have. Amen. It's been 13 years since "I woke up upside down and on fire" Still say a thank you prayer every time I pass my charred spot on 220. I hung my license plate on the wall in my garage to remind me that no matter what your day brings, the lord will take care of you

This morning the world seemed to spin a little slower for a few minutes. Ma Hurt as she was affectionately known by her 5 children, and also known to the countless kids she adopted and those that adopted her went to heaven this morning. In her 90 years on this earth she packed in a full life. From growing up in the Great Depression, to traveling the world, and even getting to see Queen Elizabeth II in 1957 to getting a business degree and having a long career in accounting to rasing us 5 crazy kids. In 90 years it is amazing the amount of lives that someones life touches, today we have seen an outpouring of compassion and those with fond memories of Ma Hurt. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
