A southern Colorado thunderegg half from my recent lapidary tutorial video. This specimen has quartz, banded agate, and a small vug with druzy quartz in the center. The round masses in the shell are cristobalite spherules.

When I see something that (based on my observation) is wrong or evil, I have a tendency to call it out, so others don't fall into the same pitfalls I notice. My recent video on bluebird bio falls under this, as the company recently issued a press release that they are selling out to the private sector at the expense of all their long-time shareholders. To me it looks quite similar to a rug-pull (or exit scam).
I know stocks aren't a typical topic for me, but this is important. It is also something that has affected me significantly. The video has a lot more details for those interested.

New trilobites, including this spiny leonaspis, are available on my Etsy page! Watch hours are still too low for monetization here, so my shop is currently the best way to show support if you're in the market for a trilobite. I just found out that YT shorts watch time doesn't count towards the 4k hours I need to monetize, so I'll be focusing on more long form content while I work towards that goal.

That zany earth science channel! Not for children.
My goal here is to freely share my education with anybody that would like to learn. I also add humor where I can to keep things entertaining! I also hope to clean up the gem, mineral, and fossil trade by exposing fake and treated material listed as genuine and natural online.
