Thank you to âŞ@PaulMcCartney⏠for asking me to rework Slidinâ ...
I was in the studio with âŞ@paulepworth9056⏠when the track came through .. the brief was to do whatever we wanted with the song .. so we got to work.... helter skelter felt like a good reference point .. ramp up the intensity and add a dose of chaos.... Thank you to Paul Epworth and his engineer Riley McIntyre.. and of course thank you to the great man himself Paul McCartney... hope you like it.. đâ¤ď¸

New moon today. This next lunar cycle is a big one as it oversees the US Presidential election... an event that has profound effects for not only America but for the rest of the world as well. Please use your vote my American Brothers and Sisters.
This is me awaiting getting my haircut with Darren in Libertys today in London. I love the ritual of the haircut... the gown, the hair wash, the head massage, the thick warm towels, the cup of tea, the catch up with Darren as he cuts and shapes and then finally, the mirror reflecting the back of my head (i never like that perspective as the back of my head looks weird) and today I really appreciated it .... it felt like a lovely luxurious moment and of course it was.
Darren and I always talk about life, can get quite existential but today we spoke about a positive aspect of this whole time ... and that is that it has forced us as individuals and maybe collectively to face our own and wider truths. The thing about pre Covid rampant Capitalism was that it was a great deflector, the ultimate diversion from the micro and macro truths of the world .. the busyness of life meant that the really important stuff like what we are doing to our world, to one another and whether we are really happy with our lives and this system can get lost in the great busy market of life. But a lot of us are waking up at this time .. and a lot of us donât want to go back to that time .. we want to create a better world where all humans, all animals and our home Earth are treated with love, kindness and respect. Weâve got a way to go! But thatâs where we are going ...
Thanks Darren for a brilliant cut and the great chat as always đâ¤ď¸

This is me with Adam and Pete. Adam has been my guitar tech since 1996. Pete is Thomâs guitar tech and has been with us since 1993. Our crew are our family.. so much time spent together in all sorts of circumstances.. some amazing , some very challenging. They enable us to perform and do shows... they look after us and for that I am eternally grateful. đThe virus has hit live music and hardest hit have been road crew and young musicians. Today is a day of support for road crew #wemakeevents and you can support them at we-make-events.raisely.com/. đâ¤ď¸

Following the non-LP teaser "Santa Teresaââhailed as âbeautifully ambientâ by NPRâEd OâBrien of Radiohead has unveiled the first impression of his debut album under the moniker of EOB.
Written by OâBrien, âBrasilâ is a near 9-minute epic that begins life as a plaintive ballad built on the bare bones of OâBrienâs voice and acoustic guitar before blooming into a grandiose motorik rave-up anchored by the rock-solid drumming of Omar Hakim and a hypnotic bassline from OâBrienâs Radiohead bandmate Colin Greenwood. Produced by Flood (who also contributes System 700 synth) and mixed by Alan Moulder, the dimensions of âBrasilâ are further expanded by engineer Adam âCecilâ Bartlett's programming, David Okumu's guitar playing, and recording engineer Richie Kennedy's sampler programming.
EARTH the debut album from EOB. Out now
