Starting 2025 strong with my first kit ready for priming. This of course is the world famous Tiger I '131' from the North African campaign captured intact by the allied forces. My plan for this kit is to try and build and paint it like it is in the museum roughly so no major weathering . Although if you visit the Tank museum you'll notice the tank gets some fair use so it's always covered in mud from the arena and of course the various bits of damage that is still visible today from the fighting in WWII .

Merry Christmas everyone ! First off I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has subscribed to my tiny little channel we've just gone over 14,000 subs which is mind boggling, I never thought my channel would ever get past 10 subscribers let alone 14k so thank you . And here's just a look at a few of my favorites I've completed this year in total we finished 12 kits which is good going for me . I will endeavor to build more armoured models next year Tiger 131 is the next kit on the bench . All the best everyone and see you on the other side .

Right I need your advice . Project is Tamiya F-35 in 1:72 scale, now in the instructions the base colour is a very dark grey with a light almost ghost grey nose and various leading edges but when I visited RIAT earlier in the year I saw two Norwegian F-35A's and two F-35B's from the RAF which all shared this blueish grey with a darker nose. I took a gamble and used AK real colour F-15 dark grey with just a drop of blue grey and I like it but I'm just not sure it works what do you think ? I do have AK real colour Have Glass which is what the nose is painted with and that apparently is the colour the F-35 should be .

Some progress made on the F-35 today all the interior parts have had there final coat of white and the canopy has had a tint from the inside using Tamiya clear paints . All that's needed now is the engine areas and wheel bays to be masked off and we are ready for paint .

A new tooled Tamiya kit, you can't really can't ask for much more . Managed to start painting the interior white areas which will need another coat and then some fine detailing in the weapons bay .

Good start to the airshow season this year at Duxfords D-Day 80th anniversary show. Makes me want to build more 1:48 scale aircraft .
