I painted the resin printed female character I had made. She looks better now but air brush paints would look even better (Very fine covering. No brush marks, etc. Acrylic paints dry very fast so its hard to paint objects smoothly.) I'm going to resin print her again soon but much bigger this time around, and with a finer layer height. So the lines on her forehead should be almost gone, and with a larger model to paint, it will look smoother and I can paint more detail. This is a work in progress just for fun. I'm just experimenting. Maybe I will create a real gold plated, resin printed crown for her eventually. Haha!!!

The new resin printed, Copper plated, 5 blade Egg Impeller. Its highly electrically conductive. Stay tuned for more plant experiments and other tests with different life forms. The next step is to silver plate or gold plate the Egg. (Gold doesn't develop a patina over time).

The new boat Egg version 2.0. I increased the size of the blades by about 70%. Lets hope that's enough. I will try to test it out on the water soon.

The tree like supports are meant to be removed. The separate pieces will be joined by drilling holes in the flanges and adding bolts and nuts to press the flanges together. A modification of this design I will soon create to be added to PVC pipe with couplers. The ends of the inline egg will not have flanges or threaded ends. They will be smooth to allow for gluing to PVC coupler fittings. Stay tuned!!!

New 2 inch diameter flanged Inline Egg. Originally designed to be 4 inch, I found that my printer couldn't handle that size unfortunately. So 2 inch and probably 3 inch is as big as I can go for now. I made the new design in 3 parts to try to get around the small size restrictions of the Creality K1. However it was most likely the weight that caused the problems, with each piece weighing almost 7 pounds. Solid Petg was what I used because it doesn't biodegrade over extended time submerged in water. Stay tuned for a new video with a number of variations of the Inline egg and also the Helix vanes.

My first successful copper electro plating of my Egg water propeller/impeller. It needs a little work but soon it should be ready, although I might want to look into buying a resin 3D printer. I will try to sand the next attempt to make it smoother so that it will have a much nicer, cleaner look in the end.
