On All Saint’s Day, November 1, 1933, groundbreaking for the Proposed Church took place. The Very Reverend Bonaventure Hanes, O.S.B., performed the ceremony. The contractor was R.H. Erskine assisted by Thomas Dean. Father Bonaventure Hansen celebrated the first Mass on January 28th, 1934.
