Since the bands formation the boys from "Jupiter Menace" have made a big impact on the music scene.
The band's debut self titled album, "Jupiter Menace", weaves Zac and Ben Crawford's dynamic lyrics with crowd-pleasing riffs to evoke a genre defining album chocked full of rock for a new generation of fans. With standout tracks like "Break These Chains," don't be surprised if you find Jupiter Menace at the top of the rock charts and beyond in the not to distant future.
Moving on from where Powerage left off, founding members and main songwriters Ben and Zac Crawford have continued to test the boundaries of their song writing by continuing to deliver powerful and emotive rock songs.
At just 16 years of age, Zac Crawford, lead singer and lead guitarist of the band has already performed many times in stadiums, festivals and also on television over his music performance career of 6 years. He and his brother Ben, aged 20, initially started out playing ACDC songs, hence the appropriateness of the bands previous name. During that time the boys were writing their own original songs influenced by a wide array of artists such as The Foo Fighters, Paramore and even Australian band Jet and performed these at every opportunity.
For several years now, the Crawford boys' song-writing collaborations and performances have led them on an amazing journey already. They travelled to London to compete in the Global Battle of the Bands in late 2008, representing Australia and making our country proud when they were awarded 2nd place out of 35 countries.
Their band at the time also took out the prestigious YOUTHROCK band comp in 2010 as well as winning the best unsigned schoolies band in the MUSICOZ Awards.
Their achievements have included:
• Taking out the title of "Australasian Best New Band" in the internationally-recognised Global Battle of the Bands tournament in 2008. Representing their country, the boys performed in London against bands from 35 other countries, taking out 2nd place.
• Supporting acts such as Matchbox 20, Australian bands Thirsty Merc, The Screaming Jets, Grinspoon, Amy Meredi
