I had been wanting to start a YouTube channel since 2012 but fear, doubt and all the rest got the better of me.
In July 2020, I watched Roberto Blake’s now iconic “Make 100 Crappy Videos” video and I decided this is it. I’m going to do it. I left a promise in the comments and got to work. Making 3 videos per week, lead to 1000 subscribers in 8 months. Great start!
Little did I know that that small decision would lead me to becoming a social media manager for US-based startups which lead to me creating an online education company teaching digital skills to Africans and many, many more milestones!
We grossly underestimate just how much VOLUME is required to succeed and we give up way too quickly.
I hope this inspires you to go do something 100 times before you “give up”
