Building guitars since 1915 (Domingo Esteso - Conde Hermanos)
"Conde" has been the guitar of choice many famous guitarists for many generations from Niño Ricardo and Melchor de Marchena to Paco de Lucia, Moraito, Gerardo Nuñez, Leonard Cohen, Rafael Riqueni, now- Diego del Morao, José Luis Merlin etc. These guitars are famously known for a dry, "woody" and very firm tone, capable of retaining clarity and punch even when driven to the extreme limits of speed - whether in picado, tremolo or rasgueo techniques -these guitars can hold up and deliver a reliable and consistent quality of tone. Every year the classical guitar models get more recognition among professionals.
Felipe Conde has been building guitars for over 40 years - first with his father and uncle then with his brother.
Since 1910 Felipe Conde has his independent workshop in the center of Madrid now working with his son Felipe Conde Crespo and his daughter MarĂa Conde who are already gaining impecable reputation of their own.
