I posted my first YouTube video on the 01/01/24, so itās been exactly a year since I started my journey of taking you around the world with me on my adventures.
I exactly hit 8000 subscribers on YouTube on New Yearās Eve and I couldnāt be more grateful for your support. Thank you for enjoying my videos and caring about the project. I deeply appreciate it š¤
Letās hope 2025 brings even bigger and better videos!
To be honest I was hoping to hit 100k subscribers on my first year on YouTube - I was probably way too ambitious š¤£ but now I can say that this year was just a warm up š„
Iāve learned the rules of the game and now I know my main weaknesses to work on - so Iām definitely setting my target at 100k subscribers for 2025. Iām just getting started.
This channel will evolve in ways youāre not able to imagine at the current stage weāre at. Thank you for being here with me for the ride.
2024 was a year of discovery and learning for me. 2025 will be a year of building solid foundations for whatās to come over the next years.

Hey everyone,
You might have noticed that I've stopped adding English subtitles when either I or my interviewees speak English. I made this decision because I found that adding subtitles was becoming very time-consuming for me at this stage. Without subtitles, it typically takes me 2-3 days to edit a video, but adding English subtitles throughout can add an extra 2-3 days of work. Averaging 5 days per video for editing feels unsustainable in the long run, especially until I can hire an editor to assist with longer YouTube videos.
By reducing the amount of subtitles, I save time and can produce more videos without burning out. Do you think this was the right decision? What are your thoughts on subtitles and what would work best for our style of documentary vlogs?

After reviewing the results of my previous poll, Iāve come to the conclusion that itās probably too early to do what I had announced in my first postā¦.
