Mehrshad was born into an ordinary and traditional family in the historic city of Bandar Abbas, Iran. When he was six years old, his family moved to Dubai. From a young age, Mehrshad had a special interest in music and recorded his first song at the age of fourteen.
Since then, Mehrshad has released many popular songs and albums in both Persian and Arabic. In 2005, he began collaborating with a well-known Persian record label "Avang Music", leading to several mega hits. Today, Mehrshad has millions of fans worldwide.
