This meme is floating around social media by a āchristian groupā. (Pun intended by the quotations) Iām sure they mean well, but Iām trying to understand the logic behind this thinking. If Iām vegetarian and a infamous individual is also vegetarian, I should consider going vegan? If Iām an activist and so is another infamous individual, I should reconsider my commitments to others? You get where Iām going with this? This mentality makes zero, logical sense. Iām so sick of Christianity being used as an excuse for peoples wickedness and hate. Over half of the people that incorrectly quote the Bible, have never even read the Bible in itās entirety and with the Holy Spirit guiding them to all truth. Anyone, can interpret anything to mean exactly what they want it to mean in order to push their agenda. What others do and how they carry themselves should never dictate your life in any capacity. Especially, when it comes to your dedication to God. If this were the case, I wouldāve reconsidered my faith when yāallās favorite Christian, (beyonce) described using the Bible as a tampon in her music. Oooop, did I just go there?!š«¢ If your faith walk is based on man, youāre a part of the problem my dear.
