The purpose of this night is to remind us that the door of Allah's mercy and guidance is always opennn On this night Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was taken from Mecca to Masjid Al-Aqsa and then ascended to the heavens where he received many commandments and guidance from Allah this night should be spent in prayer and worship seeking forgiveness for our sins & asking Allah for guidance and mercy
