It’s a grim prospect for UK residents as we head into Christmas. The energy price cap is rising yet again. Pensioners are freezing to death now that their winter fuel allowance has been taken away. The price of food is sky rocketing and is set to increase even more thanks to the increases to Employers National Insurance Contributions which supermarkets (ahead of the new rise) are already passing onto consumers. As if the state of retail decline isn’t shocking enough now we find shelves in our supermarkets being emptied as people panic buy because of the very real threat now of World War 3. The incumbent President Joe Biden in a shocking move to cause problems for the returning Donald Trump has allowed American missiles to be fired at Russia, in an even more horrifying move Kier Starmer has followed suit and allowed British Missiles to be fired into Russia.
We might not be able to afford to stay warm and we will have to cut back on our essential food shop but now is the time to embrace Christmas, it might very well be the last..

The most requested return of BOARDED UP BRITAIN returns this Friday at 8pm BST. Why series 2 and why now? Well as predicted at the end of season 1 we would have a change of Government at the next General Election. Whilst it wasn’t the change of Government almost 20% of the country hoped and voted for its a change nonetheless. Will Labour honour Levelling Up and High Street Regeneration Plans put in place by the previous Tory Government? We wont know the answer to that until the first Labour Budget on the 30th of October. But the series, examining what good can be done with the levelling up funds put in place by the Tories starts this Friday. You wont want to miss this..
