Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope everyone is able to spend time with family or friends today and be thankful for all they have. The good lord sure has blessed us this year with decent yields through the drought, new life on the farm, and everything else we have. I’m also thankful for everyone who takes the time to watch my videos. It makes me happy knowing that you guys take the time to watch and them. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of your day, and may god bless you all!

Harvest is beginning to come to a wrap on Routh Farms. All we have left is our double crop soybeans to harvest. Soybean harvest video coming tomorrow at 6PM. We have began applying chicken litter to some new ground, and all our winter wheat ground. I'm hoping to get to planting wheat this week.
What has been your favorite harvest video and why? Thanks for all the support!

Wanted to take a moment this morning to remember all the lives lost 23 years ago go today. I can still remember sitting in my uncles house with my grandma, my uncle coming in and telling us to turn the news on that the a plan had hit the twin towers. We turned it on to see the second plane hit. I was only 4 at the time. I hope and pray no one ever forgets the attack on the USA that day.
In other news, we have started shelling our early corn this week. Yields are not good, but could definitely be worse considering the drought. Also got some new steer tires on our International dump truck.
I won’t have a video out tonight due to us shelling corn and my brother and I taking a CDL class during the day. I’ll do my best to get one up this weekend. Thanks everyone for the support, have a great rest of the week and god bless.

I decided to give the old 6620 a bath this evening before we start prepping it for wheat harvest, and I guess the good lord thought I wasn’t doing a good enough job so he decided to help. Thankful for the rain even though it wasn’t a lot.

It’s been a busy week. Mowed, and baled 170 round bales, got all of our early corn sprayed(it’s looking good considering how much rain we have been getting) and started getting our early- ish beans in the ground!

Hi everyone, my name is Luke. I am a 27 year old, fourth generation farmer located in Denton NC. I work a full time job as an electrician, and farm over 165 acre with my family. Follow along as I learn the ins and outs, and ups and downs for running a farm. We currently grow corn, soybeans, and wheat, as well as raise cattle and sheep. With this channel I hope to entertain, as well as inform others what it's like taking over a farm in a "Skip Generation" family. I am constantly learning and making mistakes, so feel free to let me know if I do something incorrectly, or if there is a better way. We give all the glory to god our father. Thanks Y'all!
