Update on the 09 Nami guide!
The script has officially reached 41 pages...in 11 point font... God help my voice on recording day, but it's almost done! I'm working on the final section tonight. I'm intending for this to cover literally everything you need to know to master Nami in 09, so it's gonna be a long one.
It'll definitely be recorded this weekend (probably Friday). I'm not sure how long it'll take to edit, but my hope is that I can have the video done by next weekend <3

OP-09 Spreadsheet is Public + What's Coming in OP-10
Hey there everyone! I've been a bit quiet recently, but with the meta ending and my spreadsheet going live, I figure it's time for a little update!
First, if you'd like to take a look at the data I've collected over this meta, the spreadsheet is below. This includes 2,306 tournament results and 760 decklists.
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gzZGRLMQ8TPoFapojl…
Second, Bonney video is not coming. I spent several weeks practicing the deck, but it never quite clicked with me, at least not to the point where I'd feel confident creating a guide for you guys.
However, the 09 Nami guide is going to be VERY comprehensive. 09 has a lot of changes and I want this to function as both a good entry point for new Nami players and an explanation of how things need to be adjusted for veteran players. The current script has reached 20 pages and still isn't finished yet. My new (long) commute to work has given me a lot of time to work on it, so I'm very excited to get that out to you all.
After that, I'm looking at doing PY Nico Robin or RP Luffy. I had a lot of fun with both of those decks during the meta.
Third, I'm made some adjustments to my website ( onepiecemetahub.xyz ), so it can function as a good resource during OP-10. The pages that show data will now auto update anytime I add wins to the main spreadsheet. You can also now search for specific leaders if you're only interested in their stats. The same goes for the tier list.
I'm working on implementing that to the individual leader's pages for the card usage rates, but it's a little time intensive, so that may take me a bit.
I'm also going to be trying to translate some of the Japanese guides that get posted on Note (only the free parts and with links to the original authors/articles). There's a lot of good information there. It's been a great source for my own research and I think it should be more accessible to English speakers as well.
Anyways, looking forward to what's to come in this next meta! See you soon! :)

Trying out (yet another) new Nami build and first tournament with it netted some very clean wins! <3 After over a year of using Nami, I finally had an excuse to run BOTH Nojiko and Bell-mere in the same deck. Seeing it work made my little Cocoyashi heart so happy!!
I swear we're going to need two videos for 09 (or maybe just a very long one). Shanks meta and Lucci/Doffy meta require VERY different builds

Time for another update on the current meta! RP Law continues to dominate and has now gained 40.49% of all points earned by any leader. This is far more than Sakazuki had in EB-01 and is a sign that the meta is not in a healthy place.
That being said, OP-07 is a great meta, so I think western players should enjoy this set while you have it :)

Featured Decklist of the Week!
Since this week's theme is Nami, I'd like to feature this OP-08 list that got top 16 in the Fukuoka Area tournament! The player got pretty lucky and didn't face many R/P Law players, but getting that far still says a lot about the decklist and the player's skill. Big props to AriS

I'm currently finishing up my list for a guide to Red/Purple Law in OP-07, but I'm not quite sure which leader to cover after that. Which are you all most interested in?

The Featured Decklist of the Week HAS to be this Ivankov list from やまかわ ひろあき who won the 32nd Machida Cup, beating out Red/Purple Law in the final round! In this sea of Laws, be an Ivankov!

OP-08 Meta Report & OP-07 Spreadsheet is Live!
With OP-07 about to release, I spent a good bit of time this week finalizing the 07 spreadsheet and it is now public. Please remember to make your own copy of the document. While you can view most of it without doing that step, the individual decklists have been collapsed into groups to help with loading times. You will need edit permissions to open them.

What’s new in this version?
The guides page has been completely rebuilt to make it more navigable. Many Japanese guides have also been added and I would recommend using a browser with auto-translate (like chrome) to view them. Some of these articles may have a payment option, but I’ve made sure only to include guides with good information in the free sections.
The matchup chart has been improved! While we tried our first version of this in the EB-01 spreadsheet, OP-07 is where we fine-tuned it and where we got our first big bunch of matchup entries. While matchups for niche leaders are still not perfect, meta leaders will have pretty reliable matchup stats.
The formulas for the card averages were also adjusted slightly, just to bring it back in line with how they were originally. The appearance rate for 0 copies of a card no longer affects the rates for 1 or more copies. This way, you can see how often the card was used and then, when it was used, how many copies were included.
Outside of that, everything else is pretty much the same, but with OP-07 data and more decklists added. Leaders like RP Law, Moria, and Lucci have over 100 decks worth of data

I'll be making a video going over the findings for OP-07, but I wanted to let you all know about the sheet going public as soon as I could :)

I'm slow, but I like to make things, play games, and tell stories.
