Welcome to the offici YouTube channel for VPTV MEDIA. Produced out of Valley Park Middle School in the TDSB by a team of students and teachers led by Mr. Owen McDermott, creating original videos from talent shows to our own show - VPtv NEWSREELS, that ran on Rogers tv Toronto in the Spring of 2017 for 7 episodes! We called that "Season One." During the 2017 | 2018 school year Mr. McDermott and Mr. Baran led a group of students across the city travelling from City Hall to Queen's Park and many places in between! We pioneered unique "TV Style" shows with student reporters and hosts! We also worked with High School Cooperative Education Students who participated in a variety of roles in studio and out in the field! From standalone videos such as REPORTERS & VPtv 30s Video Tweets to on going episodes of VPtv NEWS NOW, Community Reports and Robotics Report we covered it all!
