‘Behold 2020’ is the personal dedication of the people of England to Mary, Mother of Jesus, in 2020.

In 1381, England was dedicated to Mary by King Richard II and was set apart for her among the nations.

This year, all Christians in England are called to make a personal dedication to Mary, taking up her example as the first disciple, and uniting in her great prayer: ‘Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.’ (Luke 1:36)

Mary always points us to her Son, Jesus, and through her radical and selfless yes to the will of God, the world changed forever.
