Fusing elements of neo-soul, RnB, jazz and her Tongan roots, Emily Muli's eclectic sound continues to reach new heights. Heiress to a generational legacy of musical story-telling left by her late grandfather, Emily has journeyed from humble beginnings to becoming a multi-instrumentalist, budding producer, experienced performer and singer-songwriter.
In 2018, Emily featured on the Chillhop Summer Compilation with "Stuck", a track produced by Chicago-based producer Eli Way. She then went on to tour New Zealand as the opening act for R&B soul-singer and Kiwi music royalty, Aaradhna, during her 2018 Winter's End Tour. In 2019, Emily released her debut single, "Rhythm & Truth", a soulful track knitted with colours of jazz, R&B and self-empowerment. In 2020, she released "Self-Care" in the middle of lockdown, earning her a Pacific Music Award nomination. She was awarded the Phillip Fuemana Most Promising Artist Award at the 2021 Pacific Music Awards.
