"In participants with obesity/overweight, withdrawing tirzepatide led to substantial regain of lost weight, whereas continued treatment maintained and augmented initial weight reduction." In other words, the GLP1 weight loss medications, which are the current rage, seem to only keep weight off while someone stays on the medication, according to the results of this study.

Here's a handy tip sheet to help distinguish Medicare Part B (outpatient healthcare provider) and Medicare Part D (outpatient drugs) coverage for vaccines. Note that in some cases like the new RSV vaccines, Medicare Part B pays for administering the vaccine but does not pay for the vaccine itself, which is paid for by Part D (if a patient has Part D coverage in place).

Hey, everyone. I hope you like the new item I added to my channel banner. I did the design work myself and even added crackled paint to the new painting elements you don't get to see at the Louvre Museum in France (where the original painting is). :-)

Fascinating case about two blood clots that occurred in the same patient, almost at the same time: one essentially caused a heart attack, and the other caused a blood clot in the lungs (which can be life-threatening). The suspected reason for this "super-clotting" was COVID infection. I recently posted a brief related fascinating video on my YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/eh_gz19xojs.
