I'd be lying if I said I was surprised, however I am surprised at how close Rockruff came to victory and that Absol managed to beat the kitten. Take some joy in knowing that Absol could have potentially won if they were entered in the tournament. Anyway, outside of the final boss, everyone has voted and Sprigatito has come out victorious as the cattiest cat and the winner over both cats and dogs.
Congratulations to Rockruff as the best boy amongst the dogs as well as the runner-up and the whole tournament.
Sprigatito's evolution line has won another tournament to either the joy or dismay of some people. While they were my starter choice in Scarlet & Violet, I'm curious to know why everyone else likes this Pokémon. Is it the anime, aesthetic, or something else?

The sweet scent its body gives off mesmerizes those around it. The scent grows stronger when this Pokémon is in the sun.

Every time ABSOL appears before people, it is followed by a disaster such as an earthquake or a tidal wave. As a result, it came to be known as the disaster POKéMON.
I almost forgot but I did say that Absol would be the final boss since they appear feline and are potentially based on a Bai Ze.

Amongst every cat Sprigatito has come out on top and amongst every dog Rockruff stands as the best boy.
Now time to see who will be left standing in the final round of the Cats & Dog tournament.

Its fluffy fur is similar in composition to plants. This Pokémon frequently washes its face to keep it from drying out.
[Rockruff]
This Pokémon has lived with people since times long ago. It can sense when its Trainer is in the dumps and will stick close by its Trainer’s side.
