Miso update #3
The expired anti venom pulled through and Miso is doing a whole lot better! We brought him back home yesterday and is already regaining his strength.
Iām so very beyond grateful for everyone love and support.

Miso Update #2
We were thankfully able to get Miso to the vet this afternoon but unfortunately revealed one of the worst cases scenarios.
The vet informed us that Miso had been bitten by a snake (most likely a brown snake due to the commonality), my family and I believe it may have happened yesterday or the day before with how he seemed better after his first problems settled down. The issues arenāt related so it seems that the two incidents just happened in the same week.
At the moment heās getting treatment with a 70% chance of surviving, using expired anti-venom as that was the only option our family could realistically do financially, even then cutting it very short.
Iāve opened up an area for donations on my kofi and a gofundme if you guys would like to help. (Please donāt feel obligated or pressured and only do so if youāre available to.)
Please pray for Miso that he gets through the night and that the treatment works.

Update on Miso!

Theres both good and bad news.
Misoās eyes and coordination problem lasted for 2 days and then was able to get better on his own without with the need of a Vet visit (thank God)
Heās been better since and has been back to his normal self until today.
This morning during the normal routine for the cats, Miso didnāt come for breakfast.
Sometimes the Miso and Milo are a little sleepy so I didnāt think any of it when I saw Miso laying in the hall, with a little nudge I got him to move out.
He still didnāt come for breakfast and instead moved to the kitchen hall way to lay down before he got up to use the litter.
I cleaned it up after he finished, then he went in again. Only to come out with nothing there.
I let him out and noticed how he seemed to wince every time he took a step, laying down every few steps.
He tried to go toilet again couple of times, still nothing.
To spare details, Miso seems to be severely constipated and in a bit of pain to the point he lays down in the litter after trying.
Heās been in and out of the litter and refuses to drink water or milk when offered.
As of now heās back in and fallen asleep ?
Iāll be calling the vet if his conditionās continue or worse within the next 2 hours.
Iāll be updating his condition on my tiktok story (koicrys) and occasionally here if its better.
Commissions are still open and a possibility of opening up donations for him depending what happens in the next couple of hours.
Again thank you guys for the support ! Iām sorry for the lack of posts in the past months, I hope to release something soon once things settle down.
Iām also unsure if the issues earlier this week are any related to the ones now? But hopefully everything turns out okay.
