Being born and raised by parents who were opera singers, I grew up listening to classic music.
Therefore, I loved opera music and had no interest in pop music.
However, one day when I became a first year junior high school student, one of my friend handed me a CD album. And she said âCheck this outâ.
It was Britney Spears Greatest Hits : My prerogative album and I was shocked by the boldness of the cover.
And when I listened to the intro of the track âToxicâ, I felt a tingling sensation run up and down my body, as if an electric current had passed.
From that day on, I started listening to all kinds of pop music and came to dream of becoming a singer like Britney.
I wish to meet Britney and stand on the same stage with her someday.
âKanabritâ comes from a combination of my name and Britney.
For if it wasn't for Britney, I wouldnât be who I am today.
