We were one of the first labels to feature Romanian duo Sllash & Doppe back in 2019. Since then, they have crafted a following of millions with their afro-tinged tech house. This year, their version of the Gypsy Kings' classic "Bamboléo" has been a staple in many an A-lister's set. It's been a minute since they've featured on GU, so we are delighted to welcome them back. "Anybody" is their version of the Burna Boy Afrobeat classic. Stripping things back, they take the killer vocals on a percussive heavy ride through Afro rhythms. 💿 Mallin, Rose Moncado - Say It Right
Mallin has developed a sound that is so unique and addictive that both DJs and music fans alike are powerless to its charms. "Off My Mind", his slow-motion single from 2021, has just passed 3M streams and sold incredible numbers on the DJ stores. "Set Me Free", his single from earlier in the year, is one of the deepest cuts to grace the DJ store's overall top 100 chart. We rarely see unreleased artists who have notched up DJ support from Jamie Jones and Amine Edge & Dance. But that's what happened when Morrocan-English producer Yazmina popped up in our inbox. However, when you listen to her incendiary debut, "If You Want My Body", it's not hard to see why. The young Hackney-based producer has delivered the kind of blistering tech funk that sounds like she's taken the raw essence of Chicago's Warehouse and time-warped it to 2023 with the style and panache of a seasoned professional. Razor-sharp beats, rubbery Juno bass and Yazmina's stone-cold killer original vocal make for a banger we can hear everyone from Gideon to Guetta playing.
