About
The Sweptaways are 20 women singing choir pop songs, dressed in colour coordinated or themed costumes. The Stockholm-based choir was formed in 2003 and since 2006 the group has released two albums and a number of EPs. The Sweptaways have collaborated with artists such as Robyn, Howlin' Pelle, Jens Lekman och Marit Bergman as well as performing at numerous Swedish venues and festivals over the course of ten years. Their third album Framtiden will be released on October 21st 2013 on their own label Ooh Aah Records & Publishing.
